this guy thinks he’s different and better than average guys bc he “respects” women “for their minds.” He identifies as a nice guy who finishes last. He is equally or more misogynist than the basic guy bc he sees women as one dimensional and believes sexual expression diminishes

all other traits. Ultimately he hates women who own their sexuality bc he feels threatened by it due to his own discomfort and inexperience. He feels entitled to tell women how to dress and behave bc he views his needs, preferences and judgment as more valid than hers.

As long as he is tutting at a woman’s sexuality from his position of superiority, he is impervious to critique or examination and exempt from the effort of equal partnership, which requires consideration, compromise, challenge, accountability and growth.

He’s blind to the exact thing he espouses to value above all else. He is an unwitting victim of toxic masculinity. Upon failure to exemplify a traditional masculine role, he adapts the same patriarchal Madonna/whore complex, but from an angle he fancies unique.

He’s not rejecting the objectification of women, he’s rejecting the stereotypical “meathead” way of doing it. The anger he feels about his exclusion from the classic macho narrative is easy to project on to women.
The paradigm is ignorant, self-indulgent, lazy and basic as hell.

In the end it’s all about his ego and critiquing women based solely on the way they conform to and insulate it. The first step he needs to take is realizing that no one on earth gives a fuck that he’d prefer women to stop doing hot girl shit.
