It’s so rare you see someone who has Rudy’s game be so good on offence too. Guys like Eaton and Wallace could barely scratch double digits on awful efficiency. It’s added value to his game other than his defence, he’s one of the best PnR bigs in the league.
But that’s not where his value can be seen, it’s in his advanced stats.

Yes Rudy struggles vs Houston, but what big man doesn’t? They literally are designed for that. Rudy can’t switch onto Harden and CP3, but answer this, what perimeter defender can guard them?? Same thing applies with Jokic. Jokic torches every big man in the playoffs, including AD
Rudy hate is cringe and he’s a top 20 player in the league. His game isn’t appealing to watch and he can’t switch onto guards, but his rim protection is incredibly impactful and why he got the third biggest contract ever
