- i want to point out a few things and state that people who ship dnf + people who are uncomfy w irl shipping can and should be able to coexist.
firstly. people don’t point this out enough but the amount of hypocrisy among this is ridiculous. people used to have cancelling threads simply because they shipped dnf and even though dream and george have explicitly stated MULTIPLE TIMES that they don’t care about shipping -
people have been (and are still) shitting on dnf shippers and that’s not okay. dream has made a tweet about this before so nothing should warrant any right for someone to hate on dnf shippers:

yes, it may be different than what many are used to bc there is a stigma to irl shipping and i can agree that a lot of the times it can cross boundaries. i’d like to add that if the people involved are fine with people shipping them, there is no reason to send hate to shippers.

also, regarding a lot of people pointing out that dnf has taken over a lot of the tl: if you don’t want to see it on your page, you can simply mute/block !! also, most of the time it’s tweeted as a joke and it’s not serious - i tweet dnf as a joke a lot as well :]
in conclusion: dream + george are fine w the shipping and said they don’t care, mute/block if you’re uncomfortable with seeing dnf, and please stop trying to guilt trip dnf shippers. please stop trying to send unnecessary hate to them.
