So let me understand:

In the case of the Nashville suicide bomber and terrorist Anthony Quinn Warner:

1. His former girlfriend informed the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department that Warner was armed and dangerous.
2. His girlfriend's attorney warmed the cops that Warner was armed and dangerous.

3. Warner's own attorney warned the police that Warner was armed and dangerous, and capable of making bombs.
4. The MNPD go to Warner's house and since he wouldn't open the door for them when they knocked, they left.

5. The FBI did nothing because Warner was not in their databases. So everyone left him alone to build his bombs and destroy parts of Downtown Nashville in peace.
6. The media refuses to call him a suicide bomber or terrorist, and have been startlingly sympathetic in their coverage of him and his acts in order to protect the sanctity and faux innocence of white supremacist capitalist patriarchy.
But just a little bit north, in Louisville, Kentucky, Emergency Medical Technician Breonna Taylor was in her home when:

1. Louisville Metro Police Department officers bust into her home looking for someone that didn't live there, without announcing/identifying themselves.
2. Her boyfriend fired a warning shot and in return, the police shot 32 bullets wildly into the apartment, and murdered unarmed Breonna in cold blood.
3. The media immediately began looking for ways to blame Breonna for her own death, insinuating that Breonna's home was some sort of drug den when it wasn't.
4. The LMPD and prosecutors went as far as attempting to bribe Breonna's ex-boyfriend, the guy they were looking for, offering him leniency if he would lie and say Breonna was involved in shit she wasn't involved in. He said HELL NO and took the bid.
5. Prosecutors and a grand jury charged the cops with firing into the empty apartment next door, but not with Breonna's death, telling us in no uncertain terms that a space with nothing in it is worth more to them than Black lives.
Centrists, meanwhile, are worried that "defund the police" is the primary problem in addressing how catastrophically destructive and deadly police forces are.
And they believe that a slogan is the primary problem because they are part of the overclass with all the power, privilege, and property the police were created to protect.
The police were never here to serve and protect *us.* They're merely here to ensure that we don't achieve a more just and equitable society through revolution.

From the plantation to the prison industrial complex, the goal was always to uphold the status quo.
JUSTICE FOR BREONNA TAYLOR!
