For people who have (blessedly) not read the electoral count act: Hawley objecting to slates will just increases the amount of time of the process will take. Almost certainly will not change outcome.

Objections have to be put in writing and have to come from a senator and a lawmaker in the House. With Hawley saying he will object those requirements will be met. Once objections are submitted, each chamber breaks and debates for (approx.) 2 hours (ish)/2
any PROPOSED changes (if there are any) will be subject to MAJORITY vote in each chamber. Dems control House, so it’s a non-issue there - even if some members are unable to make it b/c of covid/etc. In the Senate, enough in GOP have acknowledged Biden’s win to block changes/3
