Every officer who pointed a gun should be filing a use of force report. Unless these kids were surrounded by the tactical unit..there should be a use of force report for every gun that was unholstered. Also - there are so many questions with this story that Ottawa Police should investigate. Who made the 911 call? Was it a shopping mall customer? Was it mall security? This looks like it was a false report about a gun that resulted in the traumatic arrest of young men.

And @OttawaPolice should investigate their actions and make the report public. Why is drawing weapons the first move that's made? And yes- ask that question - did race factor in it? Because the public is asking it.
