FROM THIS HOLLOW
We can see the New York City around us, empty and absent.

Not that the city isn’t here but it’s members are harder to trace and see. From this hollow, you may wonder about the future and about the past, what we’ve done, and why. But also ask what we do next.
IS THIS WHAT WE WANT?

Empty lifeless voids, clad in glass and steel? Is this what we’re about? Facades no one lives or works behind. Is this what we value? Safety deposit boxes in the sky, places to park capital? Who lives here? Who loves here? Who raises children here?
THINK OF WHAT WE MAY LOSE!

You may never get it back. We need to reconsider. It’s not the same place it used to be, before the masks, before people realized what they were missing at home, or that they needed to start one. That’s who & what matters. New York City is for people.
