it's quite amazing to me how they prep and armor and yell about crimes and threats that either never existed or haven't existed for 20+ years and went away because of cellphones and not their interference...

I'm never going to forget the empire state shooting that they pretend never happened, ever. Deployed machine guns! Into a crowd! At rush hour! Because a single brown- appearing man shot his former boss with a handgun and walked into the crowd.
Didn't chase him. Didn't de-escalate. Didnt even WARN THE CROWD. Just unloaded automatic weapons at the entrance of the empire state building. DID NOT HELP THE CIVILIANS DROWNING IN THEIR BLOOD AFTER. The most perfect example of how they respond to imagined vs real threats.
