I know a lot of Armenians are unhappy with the recent bickering and arguing and are calling for unity. However, I think many of them think the issue is related to a difference in politics. I don't think that's the case. I personally don't think the old regime or the current
regime are fit to run the country and we need a fresh new start. Some also think it's about Armenians in Armenia complaining about the diaspora. I think this is greatly exaggerated and isn't really an issue.
The main problem I have is with a group of people who are openly promoting fascism, corruption, racism, homophobia and more. That's not something I can just accept and turn a blind eye to for the sake of unity. In fact, I think it's actually united a lot of us who are against it.
So if you see me arguing with someone in the comments, it's not because I'm a "Nikol zombie," far from it. It's because I'm trying to advocate for democracy, freedom, equality, equity, and actual unity.
If this offends you, then you probably have to ask yourself which side of this you're on. We can't have unity when there's so much exclusion
