When Wife and I got our first house, for our first Christmas her beloved Christmas Tree Angel topper didn't work.

Our fist Christmas living together we put up the tree and Wife pulled out an old Angel for the top. It's not fancy or outwardly remarkable.
We plugged it in and it didn't light.

I tried replacing bulbs and checked the wires. "Looks like it's broken", I said.
Then she said the 4 words,
"It's important to me."

In our little world that means it's important to us.
I searched high and low and finally found a similar topper. I pulled out all of the lights and put them into the old one.

After 14 years she still gives me a kiss and talks about it when we put it up. And she smiles every time she looks at it.
