So the RX450h took this poll! So, here is my review of the RX450h. If you have a budget of around 3.5m-4m to spend on a luxury daily driver, it is the PERFECT car for Kenyan conditions. https://twitter.com/Kalasinga_/status/1342696410869878785
Some may say, you can get a Prado at that price or even an a Subaru Outback for much less. But trust me you will not get half the luxury that the Lexus RX comes with. It is underrated. Lemme list some of the features of the 2009 model so you understand how underrated it is.
Heated and Cooled Leather Seats(most German cars will only give you heated).
Auto dimming side mirrors and rear view mirror (hakuna kuchomwa na kenyan deres)
8 way adjustable electric seats with 3 memory settings for driver and passenger.

14 speaker sound system with a subwoofer at the back.
Adaptive Front Headlights (they turn as you turn the wheel to illuminate round corners better)
Crazy sound deadening, when you're inside the car you can barely hear anything outside.

Height Adjustable Suspension on some models.
Auto Dipping Side Mirrors(ukieka reverse zinashuka chini ndio uone poa), Heads Up Display. (You see your speed on the windscreen)
And these are just the unique-ish ones. I can't list all the other coz they basic luxuries.

Remember this is an 11 year old car. When you buy the 2013/14 models you get more features like adaptive cruise and lane keep assist. If you want luxury, you just cannot go wrong with Lexus.
How does it to feel to drive?
Smooth and Quiet AF! At low speeds many times the engine is off so its basically running on the electric motor. When need be the 3.5 litre V6 comes in and we all know how smooth and refined V6s can be.

While still maintaining this smoothness, it still hauls ass proper. Remember this is a 300hp car with electric motors. The torque is instant. It will embarrass many cars on the road.I recall once it went up Kangocho Hill in Karatina at a solid 180kph.(There was a hint of madness)
At the same time, you can get 16kpl average consumption on the highway when you drive it well. This is a fuel consumption of a 1.5 litre Toyota Fielder. So it balances performance, consumption and luxury really really well.
Of course with the ground clearance and AWD it is practical for most Kenyan Roads. You never have to worry too much about bumps and light offroading. But remember it is not a Prado, so it has its limits.
The car is also VERY RELIABLE. You can check any website and you will see it's reliability is unmatched. However, the batteries WILL die if you buy an 8 year old car. They have a lifespan. Many people confuse this for unreliability. It is just the lifespan of these batteries.
If you buy an 8 year old car the battery will die within 2 yrs approximately. It costs around 250-300k to replace as of 2 years ago. But once you do that you are sorted for many years. There are experts who are able to do this without any issues. Just don't take it to quacks
With the electric motors, your engine is less stressed and you can therefore run very long service intervals without sweating. Since the engine does not run all the time, you can go for longer without changing oil.
Who would I recommend this car to? Anyone who wants a combination of these things:
1. Luxury.
2. Reliability
3. Above average performance
4. Practicality.
It will be the perfect car for you.

I have driven in S classes, 7 series, X5, Discoveries, LC200s. And tbh, in terms of Noise Vibration and Harshness, the Lexus is one of the most muted. It is peaceful.
Oh. One of its party tricks. When you close the windows, the window slows down as it gets to the top so that it doesn't make noise when making contact with that rubber up there. Hehe.
Any questions, feel free to ask. Sorry if this one was too long
