One of the lessons I’ve learned during the pandemic is the art of solitude. Thanks to social distancing, I learned to appreciate more time alone.

Solitude gives us the ability to reflect on our lives, find purpose, and develop a healthy lifestyle.

Ways I Improved ⤵️
1) Make it a Daily Habit

What helps you facilitate solitude? It might be yoga, instrumental music, reflective writing, a walk outside.

If you do it everyday, you’ll take advantage of its benefits. Solitude grounds us in our identity & reminds us of who we are. No distractions.
2) Establish Bounderies

While boundaries sound restrictive, it can be the most freeing things you can do.

When we place boundaries on our phones, social media, news, et al., we free ourselves of the mental energy, time, and effort we waste away when we are not intentional.
3) Simplify Your Media Intake

Whether it’s news, social media, podcasts, and other mediums, it’s important to balance what we consume.

Quality matters too. “Your eyes are the gateway to your soul.” What you consume will become a part of you. Choose wisely.
4) Encourage Others to Do the Same

The best way to embrace solitude is by developing a passion for it.

By encouraging friends to join along the journey, you can help influence the lives around you.
