Then, obesity exacerbates corona and the economy gets shut down.

Obesity is the number one public health crisis in America.

Why don’t we make it a priority?

Oh. Right. Because it’s hard.

And involves shaming others for personal choices.

So forget it. Let’s just be sick broke and dead instead.

That’s easier than being honest.

The economy is shut down and we’re locked up partly because half the country can’t stop eating fried chicken or guzzling Mountain Dew.

The negative externalities of personal obesity are enormous but have been hidden.

Now we all pay in the open with our liberty.
