When we still can’t get test-trace-isolate right, with lack of convenient, culturally specific and applicable resources at every step of the way, I am enraged.
We’ve now seen elsewhere what will happen when we let down our guard after this second wave. Whaddya think we are going to do here? Yup: let down our guard, and wait for a demoralizing 3rd lockdown, dithering with half-measures.

Me? I am enraged. And next time someone tells me that I’m just naive, or don’t understand the complexity of it all—after all the years I’ve spent dealing with the complexities of AMR at local, provincial, federal, and international levels, they can frankly go **** themselves.
I know rage is unhealthy, but it is not in my control to really end it. It’s the leaders who can.
Until then, next time you ask me how I’m doing, my answer might not be my usual “stable”. It will be “enraged”.
