Yesterday I realised that after 3 years when I decided that I can do this YouTube thingy even though I was clueless about how it works and 2 years when I really decided to go big or go home doing YouTube.
Now 2 years later after joining the YPP, I have earned $5000. It might be small to some people but I am grateful for my YouTube channel. After I lost mum, churning out YouTube videos literally saved me. I was not in the state of mind to be a pharmacist, I couldn't focus
on writing research proposals because I would end up tearing up everytime so focusing on making videos was a huge part of how I coped with my emotions. And receiving payment every month was a big blessing. I was healing and getting paid as well.
This year I decided to try anything and everything and while it had huge benefits (made the highest monthly revenue for 3 months straight this year), it also had some downfalls. I got my 1st copyright strike and I was also removed from the YPP so I couldn't earn from my
channel. However my issues also made me start a new channel that took less than 60 days to start earning me money so now I have two channels that bring in money every month.

This new year, my aim is consistency. I am reducing the amount of videos I upload so that I
can always upload every week. The aim is 3 and 2 videos per week on both channels for at least 6 months. The aim is to enjoy the process of writing video ideas, filming and editing while hoping I am making an impact in people's lives and also hoping that my videos blow up soon.
Hopefully I can achieve my YouTube dreams and goals in 2021....
