January:
- a sweet 4-0 thrashing in a trip to Bristol; seeing the BMW really start to show why they were all about
- a standard yet sentimental 3-1 victory at home to QPR, doing the double over them and marking the last ever West london derby to be played at GP

February:
- a fantastic and emotional 5-1 win over Hull courtesy of a Benrahma hattrick, dedicating the goals and performance to his late father. RIP
- a weird, confusing and shocking 2-1 loss to Luton, a team we had literally smashed 7-0 just earlier in the season....?

March:
- short one
but in hindsight upsetting. A 5-0 thrashing (there’s a theme here) of SWFC in which Dasilva shone again marked the last game before COVID lockdown & footie halting. This ended up being the last EVER game that fans would attend GP, stll doesn’t sit right
...
- short one

June:
- weird month & new experience for all of us with footie behind closed doors, but what a month it was. Wins over Fulham, West Brom and Reading gave made it so optimistic that we could actually go up. This was a period where I actually believe we were feared by other teams.

July (PART1) :
- this was an unbelievably long month, and one where we experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Winning even more games, remember Charlton giving me goosebumps - we were the best team in the league, and the situation was clear with 2 games to go...

July (PART 2):
- with West Brom slipping up, as we sat 3rd in the champ - all we had to do is pick up 3 pts against either Stoke or Barnsley - and we would be promoted... I don’t need to repeat the story from there really - we bottled it, losing both and settling for playoffs

July (PART 3):
This was a crushing blow not getting autos when it was in our hands, but the season wasn’t over. The start of a forced rivalry from Swans fans begun after our first leg in the playoff semi-final against them: in which we lost 1-0, thanks to a Keith Stroud robbery

July (PART 4):
- favourite game all season, the justly 3-1 turn around against Swansea in the second leg. To be honest I didn’t think we would but the team had so much fire & and determination & showed up to be fair. What a game. Steve Cooper shushed and Playoff final was set

August:
- the lowest of lows for the year. A month to forget. Didn’t think it could be worse than the start of July but a shocking, inconsistent and agonising playoff final defeat to Fulham saw Brentford dreams crushed in the most crazy of ways. All the hard worked ruined. Pain.

September (PART 1):
- Dealing w the heartbreak & the inevitable knowing of stars leaving gloomed around the club. Half made better by the club-record signing of Toney, little knew what to expect & called him cocky, arrogant (including me) & overpriced.
- Watkins leaves for AVFC

September (PART 2):
- A new clean slate for the bees and new optimism, our first couple of games in the new stadium were played.
- Although an expected underwhelming start to the league, we had progressed in the EFL Cup, putting in 2 fine performances against Prem opposition

October:
- Benrahmas last dance for us against Fulham in a 3-0 win in the EFL Cup saw us through to the quarters, before he left for West Ham. The best to player for Brentford, ever.
- a month of inconsistent results but non-stop scoring from Toney, proving his quality

November (PART 1):
- solid month, we saw glimpses of some good performances, ‘unbeaten’: winning 2 but drawing 3. Only conceded 2 goals but clear we missed Saïd. Canos’ form was rock bottom and it was made clear. The hole in the team was big, hangover from playoffs perhaps?

November (PART 2):
- month capped off on a positive, a historic 2-1 victory in the first ever west london derby to QPR at the new stadium. New signing Janelt swiftly becoming a fans favourite with his goal and as he was filling the void key player Norgaard left with his injury!

December (PART 1):
- good month, much better results including against Forest & Reading as well as tough tests against the likes of Watford see us rise the table, sniffing around autos.
- Toney scoring for fun (best ST ITL) & players who have been in poor are finally performing

December (PART 2):
- Dasilva makes Bees history with his goal against Newcastle in EFL Cup QF, sending us to our first ever major cup SF in our history
- exciting game against Cardiff sees: a brilliant Canos hattrick (his form on fire), & Raya conceding from 50 yards out - lol

... And today, the last game of a crazy 2020 agasint Bmouth could see us go into autos - or remain in a playoff position heading into 2021. Overall this year, I have witnessed us at our best we’ve ever been - arguably. We are on the
& 2021 could well be a year of promotion..

END OF THREAD: cheers for reading.
