So, I rode a bike to Daman from Mumbai and saw many heavy vehicles driving on the right or middle lane.

As a usual car driver, I was effing pissed. WHY do they do that? So, I spoke to a few of them at some dhabas. And the answers were genuinely understandable.
All of them said one thing:

"We drive on the right because National Highways are often filled with slower two wheelers or three wheelers on the left. It's difficult to navigate them carefully due to the height induced blind spot"
It's easy for a car or bike to change lanes suddenly or instantaneously. But not for trucks or buses. And they legit can't see smaller vehicles due to rear view mirror blindspot. So choose to drive in the middle or right due to safety reasons.
After knowing this, I'm gonna be 10x less pissed at them. It's a genuine concern.

One even pointed out that you won't see right side driving on expressways because they are controlled. Agree with him. Rare to find trucks on right lane on Mumbai Pune expressway.
Key takeaway: be more considerate before jumping to conclusions.
