Cybernetics is the science of psychopathy and it's been the de facto guide to all corporate government policy for many decades. Just a matter of accepting what the specific ends are (namely the steering of society to self-destruction) that's needed to comprehend what's happening.

The word cybernetics comes from the Greek κυβερνήτης (kybernētēs) meaning steersman, governor, pilot, or rudder and is defined as the study of control and communication in the animal and the machine. It has been the prevailing zeitgeist in all government policy since after WWII.

Like low-T borg, they're patient and relentless.
Reason the goals are openly stated is that they've found those goals are accepted through social experimentation and observing feedback (e.g. climate change, renewable, sustainable, etc.) All nebulous terms used as justification.

Because cybernetics is an ongoing feedback system, it has no conclusion. They just keep altering the parameters of the system as they achieve particular goals. It is not a system for assisting people to be self-sufficient, rather engineering people to be perpetually dependent.

It's a teleological exercise/process. It seeks a specific end but, doesn't have a specific path. This explains why so many wacky projects are begun without a clear rational path to achievement. Idea is that wanting it is enough. A practical way will be found, morality irrelevant.

They dabble in everything because it’s about interdisciplinary exploration of common themes across many different professions and expertises. This tends to make them suffer from the effects of overconfidence in capability, overestimation of understanding, classic intellectualism.

The dependence sought is not the interdependence brought about naturally through trade and the resulting civilization and extended order but, dependence on a central authority according to a plan. The trick is that the plan is non-existent and is merely a general goal of control.

Ultimately, the goal appears to be to induce fast adaptation capability. That’s centrally directed adaptation, not the ability for any particular subject to adapt to their circumstances through reason or experience but, ability to accept unqualified instruction without question.

They think the realization of relationships between different fields of study is some amazing achievement they invented. They're trying to present pragmatism and expedience as a science but it manifests as a terrible expression of "the ends justify the means," truly psychopathic.

Since the system relies on feedback, the only way to handle it short of eliminating the experimenters is to give negative feedback for every input regardless. Obstinate defiance of all attempts at control, a tall order. This doesn’t mean to be self-destructive, just unyielding.

In short, stop cooperating with all established authority. Until we can begin mass recall, it is the best hope of forestalling the inevitable.
