COLORS IN HINDUISM

THE COLOR SAFFRON/BHAGWA/KESARI: 🧡

The color BHAGWA is the most loved color these days. For some, this color is scary, since they can't stand its strength, but how did Bhagwa, out if all colors, become the flag color of Hindutva?
Bhagwa stands for serenity and Moksha that is why Sadhus wear this color. Sadhus have given all sorts of attachment and thus, they go for bhagwa. The yogis and jogans also embrace this color.
Bhagwa stands for strength and warrior spirit as well and thus, kshatriya clan used to wear bhagwa while heading towards battlefield. They held bhagwa flag in their hands and kept chanting, "Jai Bhavani".
A beautiful analogy can be drawn here. The warriors wore bhagwa because while leaving for war, they gave up all sorts of attachment. They kept their 'love for matribhoomi' above their wives, parents and children. Being a warrior is never easy!
The day begins and ends with bhagwa. During sunrise and sunset, the sky turns bhagwa. Bhagwa is the blood of Bharat Mata and spirit of all Bharatiyas.

Jai Shri Ram 🙏🏻
