The day of the vote on the UK-EU trade deal, and I'm still baffled as to how the SNP can claim to support Scottish jobs, while choosing to reject this trade deal and opt out of a deep trading relationship with our friends in Europe.
After all, Nicola Sturgeon's been very vocal about her concerns over No Deal- right up to this month. Why do they support it now?
Ian Blackford has devoted almost every question of his in the Commons to attacking the UK Govt for not getting a deal, now we've got one surely he'll support it?
The SNP's own website agrees; the last three videos are all warnings about No Deal. "Cliff edge", "economic vandalism", a direct warning about the impact of No Deal on inward investment... yet they're voting for it.
And of course a little throwback to the time the SNP took the Government to court to prevent No Deal. Joanna Cherry called this a great success, she'll now vote against a complete UK-EU trade deal.
Of course the SNP's excuse is "The tories own Brexit". However this isn't Brexit, we've already left the EU. This is a trade deal with our friends in Europe which will maintain our close economic relationship.
