Potiphar wife seduced Joseph daily. She asked him for sex and he turned her down.

What did she do?
She cried to her husband Potiphar and lied Joseph tried to rape her.

Joseph went to prison for a crime he never committed.

False rape accusations did not start today. Fear women.
Joseph was a slave.
He was bought by Potiphar.
He was owned fully by Potiphar.

Potiphar was the Captain of Pharaoh’s private guard. He was a high-rank military general.

A slave trying to rape his master’s wife could be killed. Joseph could have been killed- over a woman’s lie.
Joseph was cute. He was attractive. He was in charge of the whole Potiphar mansion because he was diligent.

This man was handsome, competent and exceptional in his work. Potiphar wife begged, seduced and offered him her WAP- but Joseph said Tule.

A man of honour and principle.
Potiphar’s wife knew what she was doing. She seduced him daily and when she could not have her way with him- she chose to accuse him falsely of rape.

She cornered him in a room.
Tried to offer sex and when he said no,
She pulled his shirt off and cried for help- as the “victim”.
She called her servants in tears, holding his shirt and screaming “he tried to rape me”.

If you were there, you would have believed her.

Her servants- like twitter followers of today- were her “witnesses”. They told her “love and light”.

Yet she was the monster- not the victim.
When her husband came, she lied Joseph tried to rape her. She knew the implications.

Joseph was a slave.
A slave who tries to rape (or have sex) with his master’s wife will be killed.

This woman didn’t mind to have an innocent man killed- because he turned her down. Fear women.
Joseph had no “evidence”.
He had no “screenshots”.
He had no “chats” to prove she seduce him daily. He had no “video” to prove she offered him sex that last day and she removed his shirt as he ran out.

Yet Joseph was thrown in prison for 12years according to many Bible Scholars.
Potiphar was in a dilemma most likely. A slave who tries to rape his master’s wife must be killed immediately. But Potiphar did not kill Joseph.

Scholars say Potiphar most likely knew the kind of woman his wife was- and how noble Joseph was- so he chose to imprison him instead.
Bible Scholars say Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers at 17. He was bought by Potiphar.

By 18, he was already head of Potiphar Mansion and falsely accused of rape.

He was in prison till he was 30years old.
That’s 12 years of suffering for a crime he never committed.
Eventually in Prison he found favour and was brought to Pharoah where he eventually rose to become the Prime Minister of Egypt.

Joseph’s story ended well despite the plans of evil people like his brothers who sold him to slavery and Potiphar wife who got him thrown in prison.
That does not erase the fact this was an innocent man who could have been killed for a crime he never committed and still went to jail for it.

Please note:
Bad things happen to good people too.

Stay true to God if you believe in him.
Be prayerful too. Happy new year in advance.
