I wanna start a thread of mom/girl advice for new trans girls. I think a thread of advice for new trans boys would be nice but I don't have boy experience to help with that.
Here's #1: blowdry your hair upside down for extra volume. USE HAIR MOUSSE. Protects it from heat damage.

#2: If you get top augmentation, I hear that baby powder under the mams helps with boob sweat. Mine are too tiny to understand that, but I've heard it from girlfriends.
#3: I imagine if you start on HRT, your leg hair will eventually grow in lighter. My mom taught me not to bother shaving higher than your knees. It's a waste of time & skirts usually cover your thighs, unless you're feeling saucy.
#4: Pilling in the crotch of your favorite leggings due to thighs rubbing? Gently & carefully shave off the pill fuzz with a little shaving razor.
#5: Moisturize your face after your showers (and if you wash your face every day), but don't over-moisturize. Too much can get in your pores & cause milia & such. Generally speaking, though, keep moisturized & drink plenty of water.
#6: oh, shaving legs tip. A girlfriend told me she uses hair conditioner as shaving cream. Maybe worth a shot?
#7: Also conditioner related. If you're using lots of hair product that tangles/knots, slather your hair with conditioner then comb it out under the water. It helps facilitate detangling.
Everybody, add on. Cis & trans girl veterans. What are your girl hacks? I'll probably find some useful I never thought of in my 39 years.
As an actress, we wear so much makeup. I've found Pond's Cold Cream takes off makeup really gently, saves your skin, and works like a beast. It's ugly AF when you're taking off makeup but it's like magic & I highly recommend it.
