A virus ravages a nation and certain congressional leaders have scoffed at simple protections for everyone and left many without pay for months. The government is endowed with the responsibility and power of securing the nation from threat.
The acting United States Government is violating the covenant. It should therefore behoove its constituents to decide whether or not the government is working and whether or not it should be changed in order to work more effectively.
Currently we have haphazard approaches by states without any real stewardship from leaders. Hundreds of thousands have died, and there will be more to come. And the government will not do it’s duty under the agreement to protect the people.
The urgent salient question I have is: when did it become politically viable to have hundreds of thousands die from a pandemic than protect the public? And following up to that question: why are we allowing this to happen?
