( A THREAD FOR TEMPORARILY RESTRICTED ACCS )
3 days ago, my main twitter (this one) got suspended all the sudden for no reason thanks to Twitter's broken asf system and I just got it back. I couldn't get access to a verification code because my phone number was old. (1/?)

Here are some things I gathered/did while trying to recover my account (but take these with a grain of salt cuz Twitter Support is poopy)
1. If you haven't already, go to https://help.twitter.com/forms/general?subtopic=suspended
2. You should get an automated email detailing 7 steps. Respond to the email

with pretty much the same thing you wrote in the ticket submission thing.
3. DON'T. MAKE. MULTIPLE. APPEALS. I know it's tempting, BUT DON'T. It supposedly throws you back to the end of the line, and this is *probably* why so many people who keep sending tickets daily wait

months.
4. This is what I did. I'm not sure if it helped but I'll add it just in case. Create a new twitter account with a phone number (the new one) and email. THEN DELETE THE PHONE NUMBER STRAIGHT AWAY.
5. After that, @ Twitter Support with your issue AND case number.

Don't spam them hourly, because they'll think you're a bot and you'll be ignored again. Tweet them once a day or (even safer,) once a week.
6. And I think that's unfortunately about it. Twitter Support is seriously terrible at its job and while I was

investigating, I came across so many people who had lost their main accs for MONTHS. I still think I was just super lucky for Twitter Support to respond to me and recover my account in 3 days but... I hope this helps anyone out there... Best of luck to you.
