In classic Sean fashion, I have somehow misplaced a single CD from my collection that I have only ever stored in one place–the single CD that happens to be my favorite!
It's an out-of-print recording by a Japanese ensemble that isn't available streaming anywhere.

I cannot conceive of any circumstance in which I would have loaned, of all things, a gagaku recording to a friend.
And this, which yields new delights every time I examine it. I had never before noticed "1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen" or the two different runtimes.
I'd completely forgotten that I owned these Daoist kitchen talismans and the Selected Poems of Robert Bly.
Maybe if I affix a talisman to the vent hood of our stove I'll have better luck finding the CD.
And now, once again, all is right with the world.
This is going to be its home until I can devise a better system of organization. Alphabetization doesn't really appeal to me.
