can gorillaz fans please stop writing dialogue for 2d by typing out his speech problem, ex. typing “fink” instead of “think.” it comes across as gross and infantilizing. im not sure if 2d was ever stated to have a speech impediment, but as someone w one, it makes me uncomfortable
also it’s literally impossible to read. imagine if interviews were typed out like “‘ello ‘m 2d ‘nd i play ‘eyboard. i fink ‘urdoc smells ‘ike shit.” it’s not typed out like that bc it’s annoying and tedious to read
also, fans who r like “AWW OMG 🥺 THE WAY HE TALKS IS SO WEIRD AND CUTE 🥺🥺 LITTLE BABY BOY 🥺” i understand that 2ds p1-3 voice is very iconic, but there’s ways to appreciate it without babying him, etc. gorillaz fans please treat disabled ppl normally for once challenge
i’m not even sure if 2d is canonically disabled (tho it sounds like he had a speech impediment, which is a disability) but just. In General, please stop treating disabled gorillaz fans like shit omfg. esp autistic fans!!! and stop infantilizing signs of disability that 2d shows
