let’s talk about neopronouns ; from a nprn user

1. nprns are NOT sexual. yes, this includes the kitten/pup/bunny/doll etc ones.

2. fae/faer (from what i’ve learned) is meant for people of celtic descent. that only applies for that spelling specifically

3. the only nprns that are invalid are the ones MADE BY TROLLS - such as daddy/daddyself acab/acabself blm/blmself and aoc/aocself. 99.9% of the time, nprn user do not use or like these.

4. nprns should be treated the way she/they/he prns are treated - as in NORMALIZE THEM. & stop mocking them.

5. nprns arent that hard to use or understand.

6. they aren’t new. they’ve been around since about? the 1300s, one of the first ones being thon/thons

7. “but theyre made up” so was literally every other word... “he” “she” “it” and “they” had to b made up at some point too

8. if you’re unsure of how to use them or pronounce them... just ask

10. “‘they’ is a far as i’ll go” you have absolutely no reason to direspect someone’s pronouns

11. she/her used to be known as “heo” — which was a nprn.

12. some people who do NOT speak english may have trouble using nprns. in that case, the person should ask how to refer to the nprn user instead. this is a legitimate reason for not using someone’s nprns

13. not everyone feels comfy using “regular” prns. and even if they use “regular” prns too, they’re allowed to feel comfy using nprns

14. at this point if you still disrepect them, you’re close minded & ignorant & you’re giving into colonized ideas of gender. stop disrespecting ppl just bc they dont fall into ur little binary. gender is a spectrum. identities & pronoun options are literally endless.
