China is flourishing bc they ended corona hysteria 9 months ago. CCP is not responsible for our internal decisions. We need to stop shaking our collective fists at China, while pretending our leaders share no blame in this catastrophe. Wake up to the reality of our decline.
At some point, we need to take responsibility for our own self-destructive policies. Yes, China is a nefarious actor. No, China is not responsible for our own decisions, from the local level all the way up to the White House COVID task force.
I understand CCP's role in creating corona madness more than almost anyone, having been 1 of few who has reported extensively on this issue. I should be the last person to want to shift blame, but many desperately need to wake up to reality that is our self-inflicted destruction.
