why you must donate to your favorite twitch streamer (a thread)

The simple answer is you don’t.

You being in a stream, and watching it’s content DOES NOT mean you have to pay/sub to consume that content.

That content is free to watch, and for you to enjoy.

Plus being a viewer that doesn’t donate, does not mean that you aren’t supporting the stream.

First, when you enter a chat you get an ad.

Ad runs = the streamer receiving money.

Next, you being an extra viewer helps more people find the stream, which could lead to more possible donations, and subs to the streamer.

Lastly, the more viewers in a stream also could lead to sponsors/businesses being more inclined to reach out to you t favorite creator!

I want to emphasize this, if a streamer makes you feel guilty or bad for not giving them money, then I would suggest you leave.

Search for creators who appreciate you for who you are as a person, and not just a few extra bucks in the bank.
