Many of us live with regret.

We often learn lessons too late in life.

Don't waste your life by "learning" from your own mistakes.

Be smart and learn from other people's mistakes.

Common things the average person learns TOO late in life

// THREAD //
1. Most people are scared of using their imagination.

They become mundane and robotic, that's why the internet was considered a scam for years after it became global.

That's why you still struggle to take action even though you've got tons of courses.
2. Your dream doesn't matter to anybody else.

If you believe in something, if you want to pursue it, give it a good 6-months WITHOUT talking about it to anybody else.

Let the results come in and if they don't, take that learning and move forwards.
3. Friends are relative to where you are in life.

We read it all the time on money twitter about upgrading friends.

Well it's true, your circle changes as you change. Nothing wrong with that.

Upgrading doesn't mean that your current circle is replaced. It's optimised.
4. Older age makes you less useful (wtf?)

A lot of ppl believe their mental barriers and hype around they're less relevant due to being older.

That's rubbish! It's your own mind talking negative.

Ignore that talk and get on with your focus/goals
5. Most people DO NOT do what they love.

This is the system we inevitably become a part of.

Why?

> dont just roll into a degree
> then into a job bc of that degree
> then into a package bc of that job

Do something you like and enjoy, money is not everything!
6. STFU

People talk a lot more than they listen, but this should be the other way around.

> Listen more = Learn more
> Talk more = Limit yourself more

Think about that next time you want to be the "life" of the party.

People don't like awkward silence.
7. Money does not equal success

Doesn't matter what you hear or who tells you this is true.

It's not!

All it means they're shallow.

Money is important, but a lot of people are successful and not wealthy. Look at Abdul Sattar Eidhi - he died poor, but his impact remains today
8. You are your own biggest enemy/obstacle

Nobody cares what you think or what you do, as long as it doesn't impact them negatively.

You could sell crack as long as it's not in the local neighbourhood.

People are selfish, they are not holding you back, your own mindset is.
I just thought these lessons would be helpful as the year comes to a close.

It's good to get perspective at times and this is a thread for perspective.
