🚨🚨Film Thread🚨🚨

Decided to take a look at what some schematic differences in what JAC did and how the Bears responded.

Going to look at one repetitive concept that was a new adjustment that jumped out. Sort of like the sail video.

As always hope you enjoy. #DaBears
Only diagram here, doing my best to explain 3match.

Simply it’s C3 but zones convert to man given a specific situation. A common one is an outside WR going on a vertical stem as drawn below(blue zone/green man convert) Allows JAC to play with a defender aggressively in flats...
...as we can see in purple. This means LBs now have to “match” accordingly on TEs and backs. I’m guessing this is in response to all the boot high low they were doing that we looked at before. Hard concept to explain with character limits, @OneandDundas could probably be clearer.
1st pass, Bears try to run the PA “sail” variant we looked at before. We see the C3 match (backside CB and Sam) and hard flat. LB is late to find the out breaking TE but recovers.

29 is an overhang all day and takes away the flat route on a look Bears have used a ton recently.
First glimpse of what will be a big adjustment. JG runs a wheel and gets lost as the CB is staying with the vertical release WR. Now just imagine if he were to run a post to completely remove that outside 3rd defender....
