For people talking about McConnell blocking Schumer’s $2000 vote-
It’s because Mitch wants a floor vote with everybody on record. Do NOT let the media twist it for you. Schumer tried to be slick- nope
McConnell says President Trump's requests on $2,000 checks, Section 230, and voter fraud are "linked together" and the Senate will begin to consider them this week.
Does everybody see what this statement means? It is pretty smart on Trump’s part. They can’t ONLY vote yes on the $2000- it would also be a yes on the 230 and voter fraud.But to vote NO means that the people only get $600 and the pols chose that instead of looking into fraud/230
The $600 already approved will still go out, I believe Sec. Mnunchin said. The additional amount will come later once approved
