My #podcast review today is for The Industry. I have in the past called myself a nostalgia junkie (though I now realize this may be insensitive terminology). That’s why I’m so into rewatching movies from my childhood. @TheIndustry13 is a podcast that fulfills that need for 1/3
nostalgia. It’s a show about Old Hollywood (the capitalization feels right here) that is perfect for film buffs, nostalgia lovers, and Hollywood gossip enthusiasts. I listened to Ep 5: How Superman IV Became a Disaster because superheroes are my jam. The intro music w/film 2/3
reel sfx! Chef’s kiss! Also I loved that there were clips from old interviews and talk shows. It was a perfect juxtaposition of old entertainment and new. Well researched, scripted, and edited, this one is definitely a keeper. Give ‘em a listen! Here are my notes! 3/3 #podcasts
