I'm digging up the lemongrass that has been in the ground for 2 years. It has big juicy stalks and they look perfect for starting.
I promised folk some starts and I want to use them next spring in the yard to slowdown some run off, which they should do very well.
The leaves are in the chicken coop. They rot slowly and have a nice smell and insect repellent virtue too.
A3 and B3. B3 has the asparagus we 'dug up' last year. Needs to be dug up again, but this time all the way

L1. It has 500 onions in it already. We started them from seed to get a jump on the season, instead of waiting until Feb to buy the bundles. It looks like that will pay off. We will see.
L2. It is empty right now. I grew peanut there last year. I'm guessing I should do spring broccoli and cabbage.
And the new C garden. All empty right now but I am going to put barley in them here in a minute to improve the soil.
The new cut flower bed. I already have seed in it but I think I am going to get some starts to put in too.
She has been helping me

Somebody is firing their new gun they got for Christmas, so Siggi has retreated from the gate to the garden. Esme has gone to the gate to tell them to fĂck off.
I got a weather station for Christmas.
I have processed 1/4 of the 1/4 of the roots I brought over to the table. It is funny, but you never think about the work that it takes to make these things reach your grocery store in a form you can use.
O. M. G. I am not a smart person. After hacking away with a knife to make these kitchen ready, I got my clippers and am doing it in 1/4 of the time. Sheesh.
The perfume that surrounded us while I was clipping these guys. So good.
