I suppose this wouldn’t be so bad if the scam stopped at HS but no. The kids are then lied to and told they’re college material. Colleges, many of them struggling for students, admit them but alas many dropout as they quickly discover they aren’t college material.

So after accumulating thousands in debt they are thrown into a job market where not only do they lack the technical skills to compete but often the soft skills too.

Remember they’ve spent their formative years being rewarded for not doing anything.
