I'll never get over how gamers'll treat playing a game... recreationally... like it's a *job*. Yes even competitive. It's a game a person PAID to play... not the other way around.
Even most streamers aren't paid to play OW/Fortnite/whatever. Their audience pays to watch them stream... there is in fact a difference. And in fact if the audience doesn't like *how* the streamer plays, they can just... not pay them....
And even for someone who is being paid for it, I'm not here for monetization meaning mental health should come after it. Yes I'm kind of vaguing but I'm also not. I've talked about this before and mean it just as much now as I did then
Stop treating video games that people pay to play like their moral integrity rests on how they play that game so long as they're not, y'know... bullying people (if the later then judge away)
I understand and respect people who want to play things at high levels and want others to take it srsy but I'm sorry even that doesn't supersede others' right to stop when they're no longer having fun bc... again... THEY PAID... to play... A GAME
sorry not sorry
sorry not sorry
Great thread & 100% worth a read. If you're so concerned about 'try your hardest' than stop treating ur teams like shit.
But. Again.
IT'S A GAME GAMERS PAID TO PLAY. NOT BEING PAID TO PLAY WTAF
The freaking entitlement of the OW community to expect such commitment to a GAME https://twitter.com/eviltoaster/status/1344009582071451648
