Always tell people. If u don't have to leave your parent's place. Don't! It will depend on your sense of independence and parents etc though.
But if after college u have a home that is safe, parents that you can share bills with etc then....

...gwaan save to buy your furniture and blackout curtains (expensive), appliances, deposit for a house, throw your NHT, borrow mummy car if possible to save on car expenses etc.

Adulting isn't cheap. A very big mistake that young adults make after college is taking on too much too soon and we aren't always prepared for that.

When I started buying furniture I was
. U know how much to buy a stove, fridge, mattress, microwave, curtains, bed sheet, carpet, and thing! Not to mention a decent couch. AND pay rent!

I have friends that live with their parents and share expenses and trust mi I wouldn't mind. They are able to vacation more or better, save or invest more, share food expenses etc. Some have a personal chef (mom), clothes wash so they have time to study and add value....
