People straying from god may have been in conjunction with people getting more shielded from the sky and the weather. If true - that makes weather forecasting all the more an amusing invention of humans! We're trying to predict the moods of the gods!

Weather forecasting is an interesting domain. Maybe it gives a sense of power and control, doesn't it? But instead of ever getting the capacity to CONTROL the weather - the weather is still, always in control. And it's forecasters are simply... Doing exactly what? And what for?

Successful forecasters could potentially fool people into thinking they are actually the weather makers - who is in control of the sky and the currents and the whole system connected to it - would be perceived as the Allmighty, after all. Argh I can't read like this.
