Bill Browder tells a completely different story about how he was investigating “stolen” money from his companies in 2005, which he states was the reason for his expulsion from Russia.

Browder says he hired “the smartest lawyer in Moscow” to investigate the alleged theft of his holding companies - false.

1/. Magnitsky was not a lawyer, but his tax accountant since 1996, who was arrested for Browder’s tax evasion. He was not murdered, he died of pancreatitis.

2/. Browder’s shell companies were not stolen using the seals confiscated in the 2007 raid, which was to gather evidence about alleged tax evasion by Hermitage Capital.

Browder omits to tell US Authorities that the police offered to return the seals but were told to keep them.

3/. Browder lied about Sergei Magnitsky being posthumously convicted of tax fraud. In the AP footage, with YT subs added later (oops), the Officer clearly states the charge was dismissed against Magnitsky, and only Browder himself was convicted.
