Yellow is Hinduism is the color of Bhagwan Vishnu. He wears yellow hence is called 'Pitambar dhari'. Yellow is the color of purity, victory, chastity and surprisingly sensuality too, since during spring women wear yellow clothes.
Yellow is often depicted in the clothes of wise Hindu deities like Bhagwan Shri Krishna and Ganesh ji, since the color stands for stability, victory and knowledge.
Haldi holds an important place in Hindu traditions because it considered as pure and helps in cleansing the skin. When the haldi paste is rinsed off, it helps in removing dead cells and detoxifies the skin. It is believed that haldi wards off evil spirits from affecting the bride
and the groom.

DEVI HALDI MUKHI:

Ma Durga is called Haldi Mukhi because of her turmeric like complexion. Such complexion signifies her strength, knowledge and chastity.

This is the importance of yellow color in Hinduism.🙏🏻💛
