Here are some defensive numbers for the San Antonio #Spurs through three games so far. Some good, some bad, but overall looking better then last season. #GoSpursGo

While San Antonio is the 9th best team in not turning over the ball with a Turnover Percentage of 13.4 (Dallas & Portland tied for 1st with 9.7%). However they're struggling in forcing turnovers as a defense, dead last in the league current with an Opponent Turnover % of 9.8

- 8th in Defensive Rating: 105.1
- 5th in Opponent Efficient FG%: 50.5%
- 6th in Opponent Free Throw Attempted Rate: 0.218
- 4th in Opponent Offensive Rebound Rate: 21.7%
- Tied 1st in Blocks Per Game: 7.0

- 24th in Defensive Rating: 112.6
- 23rd in Opponent Efficient FG%: 54.2%
- 12th in Opponent Free Throw Rate:0.249
- 4th in Opponent Offensive Rebound Rate: 24.9%
- 26th in Opponent's Turnover %: 12.9
- 6th in Blocks Per Game: 5.5

The Spurs are good at preventing points off their turnovers, ranking 8th in opponent's points off turnovers per game (16.7). Middle of the pack in Opponent 2nd Chance Points (13). Fast break defense is the weakest currently, ranking 24th in opponent fast break points (18)
