Just a quick warning to Vtubers- apparently there's been "graphic artists" popping up specifically targeting new Vtubers and upcoming streamers to sell them stolen/edited emotes. PLEASE check their previous works and cross reference other emote artists before commissioning
you might be tempted because they're so cheap, but theyre cheap because they didn't draw them. Once they take your money, they can just delete their socials and make new ones to do it to someone else, and leave you to get DMCA striked/banned from Twitch.
As a baseline, emotes usually start around $20 USD! I promise it's a good investment esp if you hit affiliate. Good emotes will make your money back in no time via subs. This isnt to say that anything under $20 isn't legit, just do your research and make sure to ask around!
Some easy ways to protect yourself from scammers:
1) ALWAYS pay via Goods/Services so you can be protected in case you get stolen work. It's against Paypal TOS for people to ask you to be paid for commissions vis Friends/Family
2) Ask for sketches and work in progresses!
