My point of view dari segi resume untuk fresh grad atau student.

Super important if you want to make a good impression.

Some of you join banyak event kan? So banyak lah award, event yang you join, you letak panjang2.

Now, you have to really think.. what does it say about you?

Banyak resume dia akan list even yang dia join.

So bila hiring manager tengok, most of the time, I can't relate event yang you join to dengan apa yang I'm looking for.

Most of the time dekat resume.. you akan tulis..

"Join xxx at xx'

"Join xx at bbb "

Really?

We need to do better than that.

Takkan lah join event is your biggest achievement kan? Mesti ada contribution. Betul?

So ini adalah suggestion..

Let's say if you join event apa2 and you dalam treasury punya department atau you dalam dept sponsorship atau fundraising.

Instead tulis "Join event xx in 2020"

Yang patut ada dalam resume tu adalah...

"Manage to raise RM300,000 in sponsorship from private companies"

Atau..

"Convince more than 10 companies to participate in the events"

Atau ayat2 lain yang sesuai. I lost my words. Tak boleh nak fikir.

My point is.. Jangan cakap "Just join".

You patut cakaplah apa achievement yang you buat. Atau masuk event sekadar masuk je?

If you tulis macam tu, interview question memang akan different.

Then my next question going to be..

Apa yang you buat untuk yakin kan those companies untuk jadi sponsor?

Then that is how you share apa yang you buat untuk dapatkan achievement tu
