I’ve enjoyed pushing myself historically this year in several directions at once and there’s a lot of people who’ve offered me help and encouragement. Some on twitter, many who aren’t. I’m very grateful for all the support I’ve had.
On that note my only bit of advice I have is that I think the historical process and the act of being a ‘historian’ can be much improved through working with others, not just collaboration but small acts of assistance.
I don’t know much but anyone who thinks I might be able to help you then do let me know. Whether to talk about applications, getting involved in things, working as a paid researcher, reading over drafts, or where my research might have something that shines a light on yours.
