I get the tiktok vibe.

It's the same vibe a real life college campus has(had) at 2am.

People in their sexual prime flirty and pushing things sexually.

It's no surprise the drunk 2am post bar hookup vibe went digital, especially this year.

Sorry to those who skipped college...
On Twitter you're supposed to be superior by renouncing college.

But there's something about being at 24/7 camp with people aged 18-21 who are living alone for the first time, that I'd never trade.

I got a PhD in Biomedical Engineering so don't say I didn't think of my success.
Aside: I'm convinced half the people hating on college actually are being rational about it, while the other half are rationalizing the fact that they missed out on a unique experience that was honestly awesome.
The vibe still exists in large cities which is why I have not renounced metropolitan life and am keeping my NYC apartment.

Bumping into locals from your neighborhood, grocery shopping together, working from the same coffee shops, drinking at the same bars, with infinite variety.
It's not the same as suburban or rural life.

Not saying there aren't benefits from a more natural or community living, especially as you get older.

But I just decided to make enough money for both.

Why would I pick just one?

It's the harder path, but ambition lets me do both.
