Janaka Mahārāja : Janaka Maharaj was a self-realized soul. Janaka was the father of Sītā devi and father-in-law of Lord Śrī Rāma. He was a great devotee of the Lord. +

Śukadeva GosvāmÄ« : ŚrÄ«mad-Bhāgavatam was brought by Nārada Muni from the spiritual world and given to his disciple ŚrÄ« Vyāsadeva. The latter in turn delivered the message to his son ŚrÄ«la Śukadeva GosvāmÄ«, and ŚrÄ«la Śukadeva GosvāmÄ« delivered the message to ParÄ«kį¹£it Maharaj. +
