okay i've been waiting for this moment for a long time.

the answer is yes, but on one condition: they can't be in the same conference as your favourite team. this eliminates awkward inter-conference games that could have playoff implications. 1/7 https://twitter.com/TO_Lando/status/1343792495298166785
it's an important condition for many reasons, but namely the fact that it puts literal distance between your two teams. depending on the sport, your teams may not even play each other every single year. 2/7
in the same breath, however, there's no team that should uproot or take priority over your first team. they were your first team for a reason and that's your ride or die. if there's the chance team one plays team two, then you're rooting for team one. 3/7
but if the game is meaningless for team one due to, say, already being eliminated from the playoffs, and team two is still in the hunt, then, by all means, cheer for team two in that game. but again, don't forget who your ride or die was. 4/7

...one of whom is a bills fan. i've watched nearly every bills game this season and was already a fan of josh allen as a player, but tonight i heard about what the #billsmafia is truly about and it sold me. 6/7
so now i have a number two team in the afc east bills and they're a team that my nfc north bears have only faced 13 times ever. 7/7
