Not jumping on the Fandom Menace bandwagon does not mean I think critics of Star Wars=haters. At all. It also does not make me some kind of Disney apologist. Why do some people expect us to blindly jump on the hate bandwagon in situations where we know so little? https://twitter.com/mcair89/status/1343758773916151808
I myself have been very critical of the sequel trilogy since Rise of Skywalker. The sequel trilogy ended up being absolutely, utterly botched by Disney IMO (I loved TLJ but trilogy lacked cohesion) but I am not a hater. I love Star Wars. I want it to be good just like everyone.
What I think is extremely disappointing is the tendency for some in this fandom to jump on any narrative that Disney=bad without actually looking into what the facts are. Too much of the fandom's rage is based on here say, out of context comments & assumptions.
At the end of the day I care about the PRODUCT they produce for us. We're in the wake of some of the best Star Wars we've ever had, and we want to flip out about an out of context comment on twitter to a YouTuber?
Nah. I'm gonna ride this wave of Star Wars HYPE not HATE.
