Attended the @LopatcongTwp meeting in person to help run the Zoom and also resign as Recreation Chair. I’ve enjoyed my time as chair but can’t continue once I’m doing my Freeholder duties. But that’s not why I’m tweeting 1/
Tonight the Twp had a controversial ordinance on the agenda. A zoning change to help keep the potential overdevelopment of our community at bay. I applaud their courage in doing that! But that’s also not why I’m tweeting. 2/
I’m tweeting because this state is full of #redtape and archaic procedures. The whole process of even advertising a meeting is insane! As a councilwoman I worked with the red tape because I had to and I did my best where I could to bring these processes into the 21st century 3/
And I had the full support of my mayor @DSteinhardtEsq in doing so. After being at a meeting for almost 4 hours tonight, I’ve realized we must change the way this state forces us to do business. Streamlining procedures & eliminating archaic practices will save us time & money 4/
That’s why we need @TeamSteinhardt as Governor. From being a mayor and an attorney, he understands what is wrong with NJ and what we need to do to #LeadRight
