Thanks for helping me to improvise.

Going forward, this is what you can expect from me(1/n).

Friend : Try to share research analysis of a company you like every week.

Me : It's difficult for me to do proper research about a company in a week. I think with the perspective of decade, so I need to properly read past annual reports, analyse management & come to conclusion.

Here's how I do research after a particular company satisfies my initial criteria.

I will read past 10 years AR's if available and analyse spending patterns, management trustworthiness, upper management capability, risks/threats and more importantly a decade visibility atleast.

For doing all those I need minimum 2-3 months for large cap, 1-2 months for mid/smallcap. For microcaps I give more weightage to the capabilities of management or the head running the company along with business prospects. I have my reasons for that.

Friend 2 : Share your portfolio and send me screenshots.

Me : I can't share my portfolio just like that, bcz it won't work help you much. Anyone can share portfolio but No one can share conviction. It has to develop within you and I will definitely help you in that process.

Friend 3 : Your views are inline with few people and expecting more individual contribution.

Me : Yes, you can expect this from now.

My intention is to develop a community of friends with Compounding mindset where people share their knowledge, views or ideas. No hate though.

Friend 4 : Share sector specific views about EV and AI/ML play for next decade.

Me : I'm tracking few companies and you can expect to hear one analysis/research in next quarter.

Friend 5 : Educate investors about Bitcoins since they are unable to understand this, try to simplify and explain.

Me : First things first, I'm neither supportive nor against to Bitcoins.
It's becoming very argumental subject of various people and I can understand that.

Bitcoins & underlying Blockchain technology mechanism bit complex to explain for non-tech background people. Will try to simplify that only if more people willing to learn about Bitcoins.

Disclosure : Invested < 1% since I feel there's some value in it. <1% bcz govt holds power.

Friend 6 : Recommend me some stocks.

Me : I'm not SEBI registered and please go to someone who can have legal authority to advise :)

Like I said earlier, people have different goals, timelines, opinions. What worked for me may not work for you. I can help you to explore yours.

Friend 7 : Who's your broker and what if your broker go broke.

Me : I have already disclosed my broker and hia risk analysis couple of days back, please go through.

Friend 8 : Are you girl or some fake wali? Share me your number and talk.

Me : How can I prove my gender? By sharing number? Or by video calling whoever's asking me? Or sharing my office or college or home address? If that's what it takes to prove then you can never get those.

We live in such a society where girls are branded as not a fit to investing by default. No matter how many success stories women produce in finance field, this is gonna stay for a while. Seems like we have to do more and more until there's a change in peoples mindsets.

Friend 9 : Can we keep in touch and share knowledge and discuss both of our views?

Me : Yes, my friend. We can share and compound our knowledge. And I will continue to do it with everyone as long as people don't misbehave.

Friend 10 : Can you share some trading tips/ideas.

Me : I'm not so good with readings or technicals, but I'm interesting in learning. Infact I have started learning and it will take sometime before I can speak of those.

Friend 11 : Wish you happy investing journey.

Me : Wish you will create wealth and enjoy the benefits of Compounding sooner :)
